Parking permits for business owners

Parking management in Neukölln starting this fall

The district of Neukölln is introducing parking management on February 1st, 2024. The parking zones 105 (Reuterkiez) and 100 (Flughafen-/Donaukiez) will be launched simultaneously. Further parking zones will follow.

The municipality of Neukölln had to postpone the launch of parking management in order to ensure legal compliance and proper procedure in the process. Parking permits that are processed by the “Straßenverkehrsbehörde” will be handed out in time for the new launch date. They will be valid starting on that day.

Parking permits for business owners

Requirements

Businesses that are registered within a parking zone can apply for a parking permit with the „Straßen- und Grünflächenamt“ – the municipal office for streets and parks. Business owners can apply for a parking permit for cars that are used for business purposes and are registered to the business owner or the business. You can apply for parking permits for any further vehicles in the case that you can prove its necessity for business purposes, as long as its purpose exceeds loading and unloading goods.

Fees

• Parking permits with a validity up to one year

  90,00 Euro

• Parking permits with a validity up to two years

  130,00 Euro

• Parking permits with a validity up to three years

  160,00 Euro

• Application form
• Copy of „Gewerbeanmeldung“ – registration of your business
  Freelancers can submit proof of their business issued by the “Finanzamt” – the municipal office for finances
• Copy of „Gewerbemietvertrag“ – rental agreement of your business
• Pages that contain following information must be submitted: contract partners, plot that is being rented, the duration of the rental agreement, signatures of all contract partners
• Copy of „Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil 1“ – certificate of registration of your vehicle
  The front page must be entirely unfolded
  Following information must be included: name and address of the registered owner of the vehicle, license plate number, type of vehicle
