The free movement of labour is a fundamental right to work in another EU Member State and to be treated in the same way as nationals of that Member State. In the context of the free movement of workers, however, it can unfortunately also be observed that mobile workers are affected by precarious employment relationships and labour exploitation.
At the invitation of Berlin’s Senator for Labour, Social Services, Gender Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination, Cansel Kiziltepe, the conference aims to develop and discuss solutions to protect against labour exploitation.
The conference is aimed at representatives from politics, civil society, academia, and business associations from all over Europe.
