The Deep Tech Hub, powered by our partner MotionLab.Berlin, is now part of the Digital Hub initiative (de:hub) of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK)! The announcement took place on 17 September 2024, during the annual Startup Summit of the Federal Government. Congratulations!
As a Deep Tech Hub, MotionLab.Berlin is a central hub of the Deep Tech community in Berlin. It embodies the growing network of research institutes, startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are turning scientific findings into technological innovations. And now the Deep Tech Hub is one of 28 hubs across Germany that are supported by de:hub. The BMWK initiative facilitates the exchange of technological and economic expertise and thus supports the creation of new innovations. In addition to networking, the initiative gives the participating centres greater visibility – at a national and international level.
And our Deep Tech Stars 2024 also benefit from this! As a partner of the Deep Tech Awards, MotionLab.Berlin has awarded annual memberships to our winners EvoLogics, DiaMonTech, SAFIA, Cambrium and staex. We look forward to seeing how the five winning innovations develop in the Deep Tech Hub, how the teams behind the ideas grow and leave their Deep Tech footprint across Germany and the world.
