Announcing the Finalists for the Deep Tech Award 2024

The upcoming Deep Tech Award, scheduled for July 11, 2024, will spotlight 15 of the most promising advancements in the Deep Tech scene. Selected from a competitive field of almost 100 submissions, these finalists represent the top innovations in five categories, including two introduced for the first time this year.

The awards ceremony will serve as a platform to announce the winners, who will each receive a €10,000 grant and be recognized as a Deep Tech Star. This award comes with extensive media exposure to support the further development of their projects.

The Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises (SenWiEnBe) will oversee the organization of the event, which will include keynote speeches from industry leaders. These presentations will highlight the broad and significant impacts of deep tech innovations.

From nearly 100 applications in five categories, the Deep Tech jury selected the top three companies and their solutions in each category. The Deep Tech 2024 finalists are:

About the Deep Tech Award:

Since 2015, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Enterprises has been awarding Berlin-based companies and startups with the Berlin Deep Tech Award. This award recognizes both application-oriented and tested solutions, as well as products based on software and/or hardware, characterized by a high degree of innovation and significant future potential.
