Every year on Reservists' Day, the Military History Museum of the German Armed Forces in Gatow invites visitors to the Airfield Festival.

Visitors can look forward to an exciting program in a family-friendly atmosphere. The museum and depot can be freely visited. The historic aircraft are also open for curious glances. Depending on the weather, the historical airplanes will take off from Gatow Airfield for a spectacular air show.

Entertainment Program and Activities for Children

Young visitors of the folk festival can let off steam on the bouncy castle, build kites or transform themselves into fantastic creatures at the face painting event. Meanwhile, a live stage program will ensure a good atmosphere. Hungry visitors will also be catered for - on the Day of the Reservists, the traditional field kitchen with pea soup will of course not be missing. Information and action booths round off the program of the airfield festival in Gatow.
