The term “intermediate worlds” encompasses places of transition and transformation between space and dimension. Under this title, the “Kreative Werkstatt” of the Hoffnungstaler Stiftung Lobetal and “Die Macherei” of the Johannesstift Diakonie Proclusio are showing works by 10 artists who seek their artistic expression in painting, drawing, printmaking, small sculptures, text and collage. Some works were developed over a longer period of time, while others are spontaneous notes. The diversity of interpretation opens up in terms of form and content.

The intensity of the sheets is palpable; many of them have been condensed in drawings over a longer period of time. At the same time, there are spontaneous notes that emerge from the moment and the flashing idea and surprise in their freshness.

The significance of the space in between, of negative and positive forms, the juxtaposition and coexistence of colors are creative tools of visual art, so that even in the cosmos of the individual sheet, encounters between worlds take place. Reality and fiction, dream and longing, labyrinth and openness - our lives consist of movement, we are on the move between feelings, between places, between worlds.
