The German Comic Con is a comic convention based on the American model. Visitors can meet authors and cartoonists, buy books from different publishing houses and get autographs from movie stars.
The two-day fair offers a world of experience around the topics of comics and manga, film and TV, cosplay and costume, games and general entertainment. International cartoonists present their work, publishers present new and limited-edition comics and merch dealers offer numerous unique products.
In the VIP area, star actors will greet visitors who want to have their picture taken. Original backdrops, film cars, a stage program, an action parcour and several workshops provide an atmospheric setting. Around 15,000 visitors attend the German Comic Con in Berlin each year.
