The incidence of Covid-19 in Berlin is rising again.
On Thursday, the incidence value was at 257.9, according to the Senate's Coronavirus Situation Report. Wor a week ago, the value had still been at around 202.
Berlin-wide, the highest incidence was recorded in the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf; here the value was at 387.5. The districts of Mitte and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, on the other hand, were able to show comparatively low incidence values of 171 and 172.
However, the incidence does not provide a complete picture of the infection situation. Experts assume that there is a high number of cases not recorded by the RKI - mainly because not all infected persons have a PCR test. Only positive PCR tests count in the statistics.
