198.9: Berlin corona incidence stagnates

Corona-Schnelltest

The corona incidence in Berlin hardly changed last week. On Tuesday, the value was 198.9.

This is according to the situation report of the Berlin Senate. The incidence indicates how many people are proven to be infected with the coronavirus within the last seven days. Only positive PCR tests are recorded. Experts therefore still assume that the number of unreported cases is high.

Over 2000 new infections reported

According to this, 2146 new Corona cases were reported for Berlin within one day. The total number of infections since the start of the pandemic in Berlin thus amounts to 1,242,920. Two further deaths related to Covid-19 were also registered.
