659: Incidence in Berlin continues to decline

The incidence of corona in Berlin continues to decline slowly at a still high level. In the past seven days, 659 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.

This is according to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Tuesday (April 12, 2022). The previous day, the incidence value was at 696. Nationwide, the weekly incidence for new infections is about 1087, according to the RKI.

Over 4500 new infections in one day

4537 new Coronavirus infections were registered within one day. The total number for Berlin was thus brought to 950,017. Five new deaths were reported. Thus, 4412 deaths related to Corona infections have been counted so far.
