Corona incidence in Berlin hardly changed

The corona incidence in Berlin has hardly changed and was around 692 on Thursday (10 March 2022).

This was announced by the Senate Health Administration. On Wednesday, the value, which indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, was 688 and on Tuesday 853. For the whole of Germany, however, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) again recorded an increase and gave the average value as 1388. Experts assume that there is a high number of cases that are not recorded in the data.

Almost 7000 new cases reported

Nearly 7000 new Corona infections were registered in Berlin within one day, bringing the total number to around 782,000. Seven new deaths linked to the virus were added, bringing the total in the capital to 4288 since the start of the pandemic.
