Over the next few months, the Governing Mayor Kai Wegner plans to visit all districts as part of a new series of talks.
This was announced by the Berlin Senate Chancellery on Tuesday. Interested citizens can discuss with the Governing Mayor and ask questions as part of the «Kai Wegner vor Ort» (Kai Wegner on site) programme. Wegner will begin by visiting the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
«Our democracy thrives on dialogue,» emphasised Wegner. As part of the new series of talks, he wants to explain political decisions and help strengthen trust in politics. He also hopes that the participants will provide fresh insights. Anyone wishing to take part in the kick-off event on 26 February at the Maison de France in Charlottenburg must register by 21 February.
