Free visits to the swimming pool and discounts for the cinema: The sale of the Super-Ferien-Pass for children and young people up to and including 18 years has started in Berlin.
Since Monday, the booklet is available online, in many libraries, citizens' offices (Bürgerämter), the FEZ, in Rewe markets and at other points of sale. The pass is valid from the summer vacations 2023 up to and including the Easter vacations 2024 - always on vacation days.
The booklet contains a swimming card that gives free access to one of the swimming pools operated by Berliner Bäder-Betriebe once per vacation day. The booklet also contains numerous coupons that can be used, for example, to visit the zoo and animal park free of charge. Some coupons reduce the entrance fee to the cinema or the participation in workshops. In addition, the vacation pass also offers the chance to take part in prize draws for free cinema visits, excursions or theater tickets.
The holiday pass is still available until the end of the summer vacations for 9 euros. Apart from age, there is another prerequisite for purchase: you have to live in Berlin. Children and their families who receive state benefits such as social assistance, unemployment benefits, child supplement, housing allowance or benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act can also be reimbursed the 9 euros as part of the education and participation package. This only applies if they have not already received money under the education and participation package.
