The warning strike announced by Verdi at numerous airports also has indirect consequences for the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER): A number of flights have been cancelled.

The trade union Verdi has called for all-day warning strikes on Friday at the airports in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart, Dortmund, Hanover and Bremen. Passengers must therefore be prepared for delays and flight cancellations. No warning strikes have been announced for the Airport BER itself. The cancellations involve 13 flights to Frankfurt, 10 to Munich and 5 to Stuttgart - and just as many arrivals from each of these cities.
