Between 3 pm and 7 pm, the streets in question in all districts will be open for children and adults to play, eat and spend time together.

Free public transport in the fare zone AB

On the occasion of the car-free day, passengers can use Berlin's public transport system without having to buy a ticket. On September 22, all buses and trains in Berlin in the AB fare zone can be used free of charge from midnight. For journeys to Brandenburg, however, a Berlin BC or Berlin ABC ticket must be purchased.
