The Institute for Museum Research of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation annually publishes a list of the most visited museums. These are the the Top 10 museums in Berlin. more
At the Illuseum Berlin (formerly the Museum of Illusions), the human brain is put to the test with optical illusions, games and kaleidoscopes.
Since August 2018, this museum on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße delight its visitors with 50 different illusions. Part of the museum concept is that the visitor becomes part of the exhibition and thus brings the illusions to life.
The exhibits of the Illuseum are not intended to confuse the visitors, but rather to "entertain eyes and brain". In addition to optical illusions, holograms and photographic illusions, different thematic rooms with interesting installations such as "The Head on the Serving Plate", "The Infinite Space" or "The Chair Illusion" are waiting for the museum guests. For children there are special wooden toys and puzzles.
