Eva Fàbregas: Devouring Lovers

The Spanish artist Eva Fàbregas has created a monumental, site-specific installation for the historic hall of the Hamburger Bahnhof National Gallery for Contemporary Art.

In the summer of 2023, the Barcelona-born artist Eva Fàbregas invites visitors to engage with her work in a variety of ways and transforms the large exhibition hall of the Hamburger Bahnhof into a space for collective experience. The title of the exhibition is not yet known.

Devouring Lovers at Hamburger Bahnhof: Immersion in an organic-technical environment

The artist's largest solo exhibition to date expands the boundaries of the sculptural and invites visitors to a sensual spatial experience. Biomorphic sculptures transform the museum's station architecture, characterised by industrial iron girders, into an organically grown space. Eva Fàbregas' work at Hamburger Bahnhof takes up the architecturally designed passageway situation of the station concourse. The boundaries between technically generated, human and non-human worlds become blurred.
