The Berlin State Opera rings in the start of the new 2024/25 season with a big celebration.
The Staatsoper Unter den Linden invites you to its season opener at the beginning of September. Every year, the start of the new season is heralded with a big party for the whole family. The celebration takes place in the courtyard and the Great Hall.
The opening of the opera season offers visitors the opportunity to talk to soloists of the house and musicians of the Staatskapelle or engage in artistic activities themselves, for example in the Staatsoper Choir and the Apollo Choir. At its opening festival, the Berlin State Opera offers a glimpse behind the scenes: How is a production created? How does a stage set take shape? Children and adults, opera lovers and curious opera novices - everyone is invited.
