Berlin presents its most colourful side: At the Carnival of Cultures, numerous groups of diverse nationalities present music, dances, performances, visual arts and acrobatics at a parade of moving floats.
Every year in spring, the Carnival of Cultures celebrates cultural diversity in Berlin. On four festival days, Berliners and tourists experience the capital from its best side: cosmopolitan and international, dynamic and full of life, diverse and colorful.
The highlight of the Carnval of Cultures is the street parade on Pentecost Sunday in Kreuzberg. Here, over 5000 dancers, musicians and artists from all over the world perform to the half a million people lining the streets. From Brazilian samba to Chinese lion dance, from West African drums to Bernese carnival brass, the groups of the carnival impressively prove that Berlin's treasure is its diversity and internationality.

Not only the parade itself is worth a visit - the street festival around Blücherplatz also invites you to discover the diversity of cultures in Berlin. A colorful entertainment program is offered on several stages. There will be theater, performances, and interactive entertainment. In addition, visitors will find information booths by sustainably operating companies and initiatives as well as organic crêpes and other delicacies. A total of 350 market stalls with handicrafts, culinary delights and information are guaranteed to make your time at the festival never boring. An age-appropriate program is offered for families with children.
