A free festival with a colorful program is expected to take place again at the Humboldt Forum for the Mexican Day of the Dead.

For five days, visitors can explore death in an entertaining and diverse way. In the old Mexican belief, the dead return to the world of the living on Día de Muertos (All Saints' Day), with whom they celebrate a joyful reunion. Workshops, arts and crafts, a market, children's activities, theater, public ceremonies and live music take place as part of the festival. It is not yet known whether the festival will take place again in 2024.
