The art and event location Alte Münze in Mitte celebrates its tenth anniversary with a summer festival including a plant market, art exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, open studios and performances.

Over the years, the former mint on the banks of the Spree has turned into a multifaceted cultural venue, where exhibitions find a space just as much as an open-air cinema, concerts, festivals and fairs. At the summer festival, visitors can take a look behind the scenes of the studios and project rooms and listen to the panel discussion on the future of the cultural scene on Saturday at 5 p.m. A plant market, guided tours of the historic grounds, entertainment offerings for children and a variety of culinary treats complete the festival program. The nearby Nikolaiviertel also invites visitors to a romantic evening stroll.
