The organisers place special emphasis on offering a stage to artists of all ages and professions - regardless of origin, gender or level of education. What counts is the authenticity, uniqueness and professionalism of their work. Among the applicants are unknown talents as well as well-known artists.
From self-taught artists and newcomers to the art scene to famous artists, everything is represented. The age range and origins of the participants are just as diverse as the styles with which the artists have applied to this year's BBA-Berlin competition. In addition to painting, there are sculptures, photography and video art.
