Lost Art Festival

The former transformer station in Reinickendorf lends its impressive 6000 square metres as a backdrop for the "Lost Art Festival".

80 artists take up the challenge of creating immersive art experiences in the industrial monument. In every room and behind every door, light and sound installations tailored to the location await. For the immersive festival, the entire building will be plunged into darkness, allowing visitors to concentrate fully on the illuminated installations. The route through the halls, rooms and cellars of the former transformer station is about one kilometre long.

Live Musik and Techno Open Air

A concert stage will be set up in the inner courtyard of the Umspannwerk during the "Lost Art Festival" 2021. During the day there will be live music by various artists and at night (from 10 pm) the stage will become a techno open air. In a backyard of the area there is another stage, which is used for a more intimate open air between high brick walls. Both areas will be played for 48 hours at a stretch.
