At the Bloody X-mas Market, visitors are encouraged to donate blood to fill the Charité blood banks before the holidays. Wacken has been proving for over 13 years that heavy metal and blood donation are perfectly compatible. Metalheads are called upon to donate blood at the "bloody" Christmas market. Acoustic performances by Saltatio Mortis and Beyond the Black ensure the best atmosphere. There will also be a Christmas tombola. All proceeds from the market will be donated to the Charité's pediatric oncology department. Only cash payment is possible at the Bloody X-mas Market.
