For many Berliners, the atmospheric Christmas market at the Grunewald Forestry Office is an integral part of the pre-Christmas season.
The forestry Office's farmyard is both rustic and contemplative. For many visitors, the Christmas market offers the opportunity to buy wild boar and venison from Berlin's forests. There will also be game meat in the form of goulash and bratwurst to satisfy small appetites. Another highlight is the presentation by the Berlin Forestry Department of its work and the Grunewald logging horses and forestry machinery. Christmas trees, decorative brushwood, Swedish torches and regional handicrafts will be on sale.
