River Cruise: "Historic City Cruise"
The "Historic City Cruise" presents many major sights along the River Spree between the Reichstag and Nicholas' Quarter. more
Exclusive and environmentally friendly: Take a sightseeing tour on the Spree River with the modern solar catamaran "Suncat 46" and experience Berlin's sights from the water while gliding calmly over the Spree thanks to the silent engine.
The two and a half hour tour starts at the beautiful Oberbaumbrücke. You will be welcomed with a cool welcome drink and afterwards you can choose your favourite place on board. Look forward to a relaxed sightseeing tour with the exclusive catamaran on the river Spree and enjoy drinks and delicious snacks during the trip.
The solar boat starts the tour with a trip through the beautiful Oberbaumbrücke, then the Suncat passes the world famous East Side Gallery. It is the only stopover at the Fischerinsel in the historic centre of Berlin. Here you can also start and end the tour with the solar boat. Only a few minutes later a tour highlight is waiting for you: the lock through the Mühlendamm lock. Once this little adventure has been completed, the tour continues westwards into the city. Now one sight follows the next: the television tower, the Red City Hall, the Nikolai Quarter and the Berlin Cathedral are among the top attractions of the city. The tour continues past the internationally famous Museum Island with the Bode Museum, which is within easy reach directly on the Spree. From far away the next highlight is announced with the striking glass dome. The Suncat approaches the Berlin government quarter with the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery. Only a few minutes later you pass the Berlin central station. Turning point of the ship is the House of World Cultures - let the free audio guide explain to you why Berliners call the House of Culture only "Pregnant Oyster". The luxurious catamaran sails back to the port of Solarwaterworld and back to the fishing island, so you have plenty of time to take in the sights once again.
Throughout the entire journey you can listen to interesting information and exciting facts via an audio guide. It is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian. There is no annoying acoustic irradiation through loudspeakers on board. The Suncat 46 is a barrier-free ship, so that people with walking disabilities can also enjoy this tour to the full.
You will receive the online ticket by email immediately after booking. It can also be displayed on a smartphone. A printout is not required.
