  Archive photo from April 6, 1926: Deutsche Luft Hansa AG, founded in Berlin on January 6, 1926, opened its scheduled service from Tempelhof Airport on April 6, 1926, with a Fokker-Grulich high-wing aircraft via Halle-Erfurt-Stuttgart to Zurich.

Tempelhof Airport celebrates its centennial under the motto "A legend turns 100".

100 years - 100 hours: The main hall of the listed airport building will be open for 100 hours during the anniversary festival. A diverse program will take place in the hall and on the grounds of the former airport, including guided tours, fitness activities, concerts, poetry slams, cinema screenings, dance events and parties. A large part of the offers will be free of charge for visitors. Details will follow closer to the anniversary.
