Jacob Banks - Yonder Tour 2025

Critically acclaimed artist, Jacob Banks, today unveils Yonder: Book I. This is the debut release of an upcoming album trilogy that will touch on a tapestry of different melodies and cultural influences.



In Yonder: Book I, Banks embarks on an immersive odyssey to better grapple with his roots, effortlessly blending African Soul sounds with his signature gravelly tone. This first offering is part confessional, part retrospective; honouring the ancestral heritage that first shaped him.



It’s often said that if you don’t know where you’ve come from, you can’t know where you’re going. Yonder: Book I is Banks' soulful attempt at piecing together his own lineage - an endeavour that, while challenging - brings him closer to the people, places, and things that have made him.



Such deep excavation is often slow and sometimes painful. And yet there is profound freedom and joy to be found on the other side. Reflecting on his layered history, Banks embraces the central truths he discovered along the way, grateful for all the experiences that led him to the present day.

The forthcoming releases in the series, Yonder: Book II and Yonder: Book III will be similarly expansive, touching on new themes and sounds from the genre-bending musician.
