Libraries in Berlin with Free Public WiFi Access

Bibliothek

Most libraries in Berlin offer free WiFi Internet access to visitors.

Visitors may use free WiFi services in the Staatsbibliothek (State Library) and in the city's three university libraries. Numerous district libraries also offer free internet access.

Anyone wishing to use the university libraries' WLAN either needs to be a member of the respective university or use the eduroam network with the appropriate access data. For the State Library's WLAN, visitors either require a valid library card or use the eduroam network as well. But visitors can also access a free WLAN network via Free_Wifi_Berlin at the State Library.

To find out which of the many district libraries are equipped with free public WiFi, visitors can go the the website of the Verbund der öffentlichen Bibliotheken Berlins (VÖBB). In the overview, visitors can see which of the libraries offer free WiFi services.
