The train station Berlin Südkreuz is located south of Berlin's city center in the Schöneberg district. Long distance trains as well as regional trains and the S-Bahn stop here. From Südkreuz, travel to the inner city takes about 20 minutes.
The DB Travel Center at Südkreuz Station is a customer service point sells national and international train tickets, seasonal tickets and monthly subscriptions, as well as offers related to the BahnCard loyalty program. The staff can assist you with information on departures, ticket fares and tariffs, and supplementary services for your rail journey.
Südkreuz Station offers connections to the following local public transport lines: S-Bahn S2, S25, S26, S41, S42, S45, S46 Bus: 106, 184, 204, 248, M46, N42
From Südkreuz station, the S-Bahn line S45 takes you directly to BER Airport, stopping at both Terminal 1/2 and Terminal 5. Travel time is about 30 minutes, but travelers should allow for a five- to ten-minute walk from Terminal 5 Station to the airport terminal. A taxi ride from Südkreuz to BER Airport takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 35 Euros.
Südkreuz Station provides lockers to store luggae and personal possessions. The lockerrs are located in the west and east hall near the escalators.
The Deutsche Bahn offers free WiFi service at Station Berlin Südkreuz. Users have to switch on their mobile device and then select the network " WIFI@DB".
