Route: Discover Berlin's Christmas Lights from the Water

Your atmospheric tour with the solar boat starts at the Oberbaum Bridge in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Take a seat and experience the highlights of Berlin in a classy atmosphere. While you glide silently past the most famous sights of the city, you will enjoy a delicious three-course buffet and drinks. Along the way, you will learn interesting facts about the attractions you pass. After the start at the Oberbaum Brücke, the boat ride takes you past the world-famous East Side Gallery. This is followed by one of the highlights of the trip: the passage of the Suncat 120 through the Mühlendammschleuse floodgate in Berlin-Mitte. Once the floodgate is passed, you will find yourself directly in the city center of Berlin, where the catamaran passes the historic Nikolai Quarter with its many Christmas lights and the world-famous Museum Island with the beautiful Bode Museum. Only a few minutes later, you will experience Berlin's government district with the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery. Continuing westward, the solar ship reaches the House of World Cultures - learn on board why Berliners call the building the "pregnant oyster". Here the ship turns around and sails back home again to the port at the Oberbaum Brücke.
