Experience a rush of colors and lights: This guided city walk takes you to the most beautiful illuminated sights in Berlin-Mitte.
In October, when the dark season slowly begins, the Festival of Lights brings light and colors to Berlin. For one and a half weeks, the city's most famous sights and squares are beautifully illuminated. On a guided city tour, participants not only experience the most beautifully illuminated landmarks and sights, but also learn interesting facts about their history in an entertaining way.
The two-and-a-half-hour walking tour starts at St. Nicholas Church. After discovering the historical neighborhood Nikolaiviertel, the tour leads you to the TV Tower, on to the Berlin Cathedral and Bebelplatz, which is a special highlight during the Festival of Lights every year. Along the street Unter den Linden, you will see the Hotel de Rome, the Humboldt University and the State Opera. The tour ends at the Brandenburg Gate, where you have the option to end the evening with a drink at the famous and exclusive Hotel Adlon.
During the city walk, there will be extensive stops at all the sites, leaving plenty of time for you to take in and take photos of the sights and illuminations.
The walking tour takes place at a leisurely pace, so it is also suitable for families with children, older people and wheelchair users.
