Private Bicycle Tour: Wall Bike Tour

The 3-hour private bicycle tour takes you along the former border strip of the Berlin Wall. Sights on the bike tour include Checkpoint Charlie, the memorial to Peter Fechter, one of the first victims of the Berlin Wall’s border guards, former guard towers, places of tunnel escapes and the Documentation Centre at Bernauer Straße.

On the bike tour you can discover the historical sites of the Berlin Wall, among them the TV Tower (Fernsehturm), flagship building of the GDR leadership, the memorial to Peter Fechter, who died on the death strip, Checkpoint Charlie, remains of the Wall, House of Ministries, Potsdamer Platz, where the death strip was particularly wide, Brandenburg Gate, the Government quarter in the former death strip area, Humboldt harbor, where Günter Litfin was the first person who was shot while trying to escape, Invalidenstraße, former border crossing, guard tower Kieler Eck, Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Straße with observation deck, Windows of Remembrance for the victims of the Wall and the Chapel of Reconciliation.
