Globe Berlin: Hamlet – Benjamin Krüger als Hamlet

As a popular theatre and one of the few cultural meeting places in Charlottenburg-Nord, the Globe Berlin places great value on the notion of inclusivity. This is reflected in a policy of ensuring tickets are affordable, a wide ranging programme as well as pre-show introductions and post-show discussions. With the Volkstheater für Alle series in particular, the theatre aims to enable cultural participation and, together with its media partners, invites audiences to a total of four dress rehearsals at the Globe Berlin.
On 31 July, The Berliner will host the dress rehearsal of Hamlet (original version), the story of a failed hero who represents an entire generation that sees its values and ideals betrayed by the abuse of power, manipulation and corruption. A production in the tradition of classic Globe Theatre with emblematic costumes and a simple, poetic visual language that brings Shakespeare's study of human nature and his linguistic masterpiece to the fore.
The 100x2 tickets of honour will only be raffled via the weekly newsletter of The Berliner.
The event takes place at 7:30pm (admission: 6:30pm), with an introduction to the play at 7pm as an extra.
