Two people, a washing machine and a pile of clothes: SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL gives an intimate insight into a story in which unfulfilled dreams and the suffocating duties of everyday life become a challenge to master. On a journey through time and layers of their inner worlds, images of their fears and metaphors of their wishes emerge: The tender memory of the first date. The years passing by in seconds. A gate to the subconsciousness. What is the force that holds them together deep down? A question that is impossible to answer. But the search alone can provide solace.
