Amid the historical upheavals in Berlin people are negotiating over what will remain of the old days. We’ll see how the new time is being talked about and what people are prepared to do to make it happen.

Are there shake-ups that really keep the promise of a new start? Or do human forms of behaviour and the course of conduct of a millenia-old civilisation unshakeably stand in the way of radical change?
