Come and listen to a reading of the classic picture books ‘Ich bin für mich‘ by Martin Baltscheit und Christine Schwarz as well as ‘Jetzt bestimme ich!‘ by Julie Zeh und Dunja Schnabel.

How does democracy work? Who gets to decide? How can we form majorities? What happens when people only ever think about themselves? These questions are turned on their head with humor and irony in these picture books. They show the weak points of democracy and how it can develop its strength!

Exciting stories for children aged 3 to 6, but older visitors will find them entertaining too.
