Dán is a performance piece created by an Irish Berlin based collective and part of Zeitgeist Irland 24, an initiative of Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in Germany. Under the direction and choreography of Marguerite Donlon, assisted by Maureen Gleason; actress Mary Kelly, Composer/DJ Dara Smith and Dancer Camilla Matteucci bring contemporary Irish poetry to life through dance, music and spoken word.

Dán is what happens when  a Dancer, a DJ and an Actor walk into a bar. Armed with contemporary Irish poetry Dán is a rare opportunity to experience these disciplines, respond, fuse and explode under the direction of Irish Choreographer Marguerite Donlon. This experimental blind date is a party, a celebration and an ode set to the pulse of one of our most cherished poets. Come see.
