"My voice - between attitude and entertainment"
Even as a teenager and during his training in the Thomanerchor in Leipzig in the 1970s and 1980s, Sebastian Krumbiegel stood out for his rebellious nature. Made life interesting, but not necessarily easier. The upheavals that led to the end of the GDR were just right for him. He seized the opportunity and became one of the first all-German pop stars with his band Die Prinzen. It made life even more interesting, but it didn't necessarily make it any easier. Because Krumbiegel has a habit of getting involved when and where it suits him. As a celebrity, you don't just make friends.
In his autobiography he takes stock of his life from his (miracle) childhood and youth in the GDR through the baseball bat years in the new Federal Republic to the present day. A life both in the spotlight and in the eye of the shitstorm, a life as a pop star and as a citizen.
“My Voice – Between Attitude and Conversation” is the revised edition of the book “Showing Courage” from 2017.
