Bagpipers, drummers, musicians, singers and dancers, all from Edinburgh, Scotland, take the audience on a rousing and varied journey through Scotland for an evening.And no, the men don't wear pants here, they wear skirts - plaid and in the colors of the respective clans: Kilts are as much a part of the Scots as bagpipes (bagpipes) and drums (drums).

In front of a castle backdrop with towers and battlements - an imitation of a Scottish castle - the artists present ever new facets of Scottish culture. Just as the impressive sound of the bagpipes and drums roared through the hall and gripped the people in the stands, the next moment soulful ballads full of longing and vastness created an intoxicating silence in the hall. The participating artists are among the best that Scotland has to offer. Most of the participants are regular performers at the world-famous Edinburgh Tattoo. The bagpipers and drummers include many international competition winners and world champions on their instruments.
