Sometime in the late 1980s: Struggling filmmaker Mark and musician Roger face the challenges of eviction, love and illness. Their lives become closely intertwined with those of their friends, including Collins and Angel, both HIV-positive. While Mark's ex-girlfriend Maureen and her new partner Joanne prepare for a protest against their landlord Benny's gentrification efforts, Rogers cautiously approaches their neighbour Mimi, a dancer with a troubled past.

A unique opportunity to see the popular musical ‘Rent’ in Berlin - a story full of emotional depth ideal for the Christmas season! Beautiful songs such as ‘One Song Glory’, ‘La Vie Bohème’ or ‘Seasons of Love’ and powerful scenes tell of love, loss and survival.

Musical Theatre Berlin invites you to experience this outstanding amateur production. After a dynamic seven-month workshop, a talented cast is ready to bring this iconic story to life, featuring two different casts for two unforgettable performances.
