Experience Puccini's "Suor Angelica" and "Gianni Schicchi" from Il Trittico: Angelica’s tragic quest for her son and Schicchi's comedic deception. This imaginative staging brilliantly intertwines timeless human emotions with modern-day resonances.

"Suor Angelica" tells the tragic story of Sister Angelica, who has lived in a convent for seven years due to a past sin. She longs for news of her illegitimate son. When her cold-hearted aunt visits to force her to sign away her inheritance, Angelica learns her son has died. Overcome with grief, she poisons herself, hoping to reunite with her son in heaven.

"Gianni Schicchi" is a comedic farce set in Florence. Wealthy Buoso Donati has died, and his greedy relatives are dismayed to find he has left his fortune to a convent. They enlist the cunning Gianni Schicchi to help alter the will. Schicchi devises a plan to impersonate the deceased and dictate a new will. However, he double-crosses the family, securing the inheritance for himself and his daughter, who loves one of the relatives.
