It just flutters, because his costumes are flat and made of paper. But they have more than just a false bottom: with a clever folding technique, he transforms himself in a matter of seconds, from Zarah Leander to Marlene Dietrich to Nina Hagen. German diva history in just a few minutes. His wild and passionate art of transformation turns the evening into a show frenzy. Ennio invents a magical world, a comic, dazzling revue of our stars and starlets.

New characters from pop, politics and film have been added to the current show. He has paid tribute to his growing fan base in Germany: from Beethoven to Boney M., Nena and Max Raabe, many modern classics are included. Reinhard Mey flies over the clouds and Peter Maffay rides his motorbike. Lotte Lenya surprisingly transforms herself into Popeye, Darth Vader into Helene Fischer.

And there's a surprise: after years of keeping his incredible transformation skills discreet, Ennio lifts the curtain a little and lets his audience in on the secret of his nimble costume changes.
