Using the exciting and emotional music of Carl Maria von Weber’s famous opera, director Kai Anne Schuhmacher tells a modern version of the story. In a collaboration with schools, several numbers are prepared in such a way to invite the young audience to participate from their seats. In this way, children eight and over can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the opera in the overwhelming atmosphere of the Staatsoper’s main hall.

Artists/Collaborators: Carl Maria von Weber (Komponist/in), Friedrich Kind und Kai Anne Schuhmacher (Autor/in)
