Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

The Wild God Tour

After Nick Cave confirmed his German tour for this fall in March, he is now adding another show in Berlin at the Uber Arena due to popular demand.

With his album “Wild God”, which will be released in August, the Australian delivers new material that his fans can already look forward to. In September and October, he will once again captivate his fans live at his five shows.

Music legend Nick Cave is back! With his latest single “Wild God”, the Australian and his band The Bad Seeds are currently making big news - because with the single, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are also announcing a new album. On August 30, “Wild God” will be the 18th album by the longtime multi-instrumentalist - according to Cave himself, a work of ecstasy. “I hope the album has the same effect on the audience as it has on me,” says Cave. “It bursts out of the speakers and sweeps me away. It's a complicated album, but it's also deeply and joyfully infectious.” With their debut album “From Her To Eternity”, the journey of one of the most important bands known worldwide began in 1984, after Nick Cave had disbanded his previous post-punk band The Birthday Party two years earlier. After the debut album, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds not only released record after record at an incredible rate over the years; Cave also emerged as one of the most important songwriters in rock music ever. To this day, the musician, lyricist, poet, writer, actor and screenwriter continues to influence artists of all genres and all over the world. The albums “The Boatman's Call” (1997) and “Skeleton Tree” (2016) in particular are repeatedly cited as outstanding works by this exceptional artist, dominated by his usual dark, stirring lyricism and melancholic background ambience.

With this basic recipe, he has already helped shape important soundtracks (“Peaky Blinders”) or provided one of the most beautiful duets in music history in “Where The Wild Roses Grow” - together with pop queen Kylie Minogue. “Wild God” is now the first album since ‘Ghosteen’ from 2019, a double album in which the Australian dealt with the accidental death of his son Arthur and integrated religious influences. In addition to the announcement of the 18th longplayer, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are also announcing an extensive stadium tour that will make five stops in Germany this fall.
