Curses (Live) + Nuovo Testamento

With Curses and Nuovo Testamento, the autumnal gloom gives way for a few hours to an insane time tunnel into a parallel universe.

New York-born producer Luca Venezia, who now lives and works in Berlin, has been releasing tracks for more than 15 years under the name Curses, whose new wave and post-punk core he underpins with spooky vocals and guitars, as well as pushing forward with plenty of drive from 80s EBM and new beat. And this also works live, for which he relies on the rolling bass and metallic e-drum snare sounds of Dame Bonet at his side. As a duo, the two make the dance floor glow. Curses have already released two longplayers on the Dischi Autunno label, as well as various EPs and music for fashion labels such as Sait Laurent, Dior and Raf Simons/Calvin Klein. They have also collaborated with artists such as Blind Delon and Jennifer Touch. No two Curses live shows are the same, because they don't just play their tracks, they use them on stage in Krautrock jam style to create a new, coherent work.

Nuovo Testamento is a trio from Los Angeles and Bologna that sets the dancefloor on fire with their uniquely dark Italo disco pop hits. Following the release of the coldwave cult EP "Exposure" in 2019 on Avant! Records, their widely acclaimed album "New Earth" exploded onto the dancefloor. With the synthpop classic "The Searcher", the Hi-NRG homage "Michelle Michelle" and gothic hits such as "Golden Boy", "New Earth" is considered one of the best underground albums of 2021 across all genres. But with the follow-up "Love Lines" from 2023 and epic disco hits such as "Heartbeat" and "Heaven", the trio has become an absolute dancefloor filler with its powerful live sound.
