From Sufi Dub to Tanzanian Bongo Flava to Balochi Benjo sounds from Pakistan: the open-air music festival DURCHLÜFTEN presents concerts and DJ sets across continents and borders on four summer weekends (18 JULY - 10 AUGUST), each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 19:00 in the inner courtyard of the Humboldt Forum - for free and outdoors.

Afro-diasporic rhythms – such as soul, R&B and rap – meet Brazilian samba and repente sounds.

Brazilian Bia Ferreira is one of her country‘s leading musical voices. Her queer-feminist lyrics are a political plea against racism, homophobia and all forms of discrimination.

According to the singer and multi-instrumentalist, she makes ‘MMP – Música da Mulher Preta’ (Music of the Black Woman) – which, despite all her anger, are often love songs about the power of love, solidarity and vulnerability.
