The plot is set on a picturesque Greek island where Sophie, the main character, is about to get married and sets off in search of her biological father, which leads to turbulent and comical entanglements.
The music is based on the timeless hits of the Swedish pop group ABBA. It includes "Dancing Queen", "Take a Chance on Me" and, of course, "Mamma Mia". The musical is carried by a rousing energy that takes the audience on a musical journey through time.
The colorful costumes, dynamic choreography and lively staging help to create a cheerful atmosphere that encourages the audience to sing and clap along.
"Mamma Mia!" has enjoyed worldwide success and has also been adapted as a film. The irresistible combination of catchy music, humorous storyline and captivating staging makes the musical an unforgettable experience for all age groups.
