A Series of DJ Sets

On three Fridays in August, the Gropius Bau invites you to round off the day on Beba’s summer terrace with DJ sets by Castro and Nemo from Sound Metaphors.

From 18:00 to 21:00, the DJ sets celebrate the Berlin summer in a relaxed atmosphere. The evenings are accompanied by fresh herbal cocktails and delicious street food from the kitchen of Restaurant Beba.

Sound Metaphors is a Berlin based record store and record label helmed by Castro and Nemo. Their dedication to the craft of musical curation and DJing has placed them in DJ booths worldwide, from beach clubs in Bali and rooftop parties in Mexico City to extended new year’s eve sets in Berghain and raves in Los Angeles. Their dedication to the vinyl format has been relentless, slowly but steadily becoming one of the largest re-issue labels in Europe. Join us for a cherrypicked selection of their favourite records presented by their customized soundsystems.
