Lasting Generation

Theresa Reiwer

What if AI served neither as an assistant nor as a competitor, but as an ally against polarisation and exploitation? How can this technology – originally designed for war and control – be reinterpreted in a utopian way? Welcome to the first hybrid symposium organised by artificially intelligent entities! They want to make us humans responsible for the future of the planet, but they find their biotic ancestors' energy debts to be unreasonable. A debate begins. A walk-in “social” media installation unfolds in HAU2, allowing visitors and virtual avatars meet via screens.
